Verbal Music

Poetry & really good prose are what I like to call "verbal music". Words that sound good as they are spoken - regardless of their meaning. Verbal Music is spoken word that is aesthetically beautiful because of the word chosen and the form in which they are used.

From The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe:
"And each separate dying ember
Wrought it's ghost upon the floor."

Could have been said like this:
"The last bit of the fire in the fireplace
made a spooky shadow."

Well, they both mean the same thing - but which is more beautiful?
