Vanilla Ice Cream
4 eggs (pasteurized)
1 quart half & half
1/2 tbl. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 pint whipping cream
milk
- Beat eggs till light.
- Add sugar gradually, beating till thick.
- Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
- Add enough milk to finish filling freezer.
- Freeze in 5-quart ice cream freezer.
- Makes 1 gallon.
