1 cup butter
3 tbls. milk
1 cup Sherry
4 eggs
3 cups flour
3 tsp. soda
1 cup brown sugar
1 lb. raisins
1 tsp. cloves
1 1/2 lb. pecans
1/2 lb. candied pineapple
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 lb. candied cherries
- Cream butter & sugar, add eggs, milk & wine.
- Mix well. Sift flour soda & spices several times and add to creamed mixture.
- Add nuts & fruit and mix well.
- Drop by teaspoonful on greased baking sheet.
- Bake at 300 degrees about 30 minutes.
- Makes 200 cookies.
